The temperature strips for dishwashers serve to prove the thermal disinfection of the dishwashing machine. This test strips can be used to ensure that dishes have been properly cleaned and disinfected according to Good Hygiene Practice (GHP) and HACCP method.

The self-adhesive temperature strips (“Thermolabel”) have a waterproof, temperature-sensitive element that causes a non-reversible color change from white to black at the nominal temperature. The color change occurs at a temperature of +71 °C / +160 °F and higher when the temperature is held for at least 10 to 15 seconds. These temperature strips are therefore very well suited to prove that the thermal disinfection actually takes place in the dishwashing machine.

The temperature element is fully enclosed and protected with a clear plastic overlay that provides both moisture protection and durability. The temperature strips should be stored cool and dry, preferably in the refrigerator. The temperature strips are stable for two years if stored correctly.
