Our IoT sensors are equipped with replaceable batteries that typically provide a lifespan of several years.* Manufacturer tests have even demonstrated lifespans of up to 10 years. When a battery is depleted, you don’t need to purchase a new device – simply replace the CR17450 battery, which is available in many online stores. This saves costs, reduces waste, and ensures reliable temperature monitoring.
*The actual lifespan depends on several factors, including the required transmission power of the sensor (based on distance to the gateway and the building situation), battery capacity, and transmission interval. The sensor is supplied with a standard 2400mAh CR17450 battery.

Our gateway and sensor configuration is designed so that you or your employees can easily carry out the process yourself. Thanks to clear step-by-step instructions in the app, installation is simple and efficient. This means that no on-site visits from us are required, keeping the solution cost-effective and ready for use quickly.
It’s that simple: the gateway is configured in just a few steps: Log in to the gateway’s WIFI network and enter the access data for your local WIFI network so that the device has an Internet connection (or connect it via LAN ). The gateway is then automatically configured by the app. The sensors can then be recorded in the app and assigned to the cooling appliances – from this point on, monitoring runs automatically.

Transparent and cost-effective cost structure
Our solution offers a transparent and cost-effective cost structure. The devices (gateway and sensors) are associated with a one-off cost and become your property after purchase. Integration into the Alcomo HACCP app and automatic documentation and storage of the data on our secure server are part of an additional subscription that can be subscribed to monthly or annually.
The app can also be used without this add-on and without these IoT-devices, including manual documentation of cooling temperatures. This add-on can be canceled at any time – the devices remain the property of the customer and can also be used for other applications thanks to the open IoT standard.
