If you want to test the Alcomo Hygiene App, please use the free demo version. This allows you to already test a large part of the functions of our app and decide whether you want to sign up for a subscription. The monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.

The Alcomo Hygiene App can be downloaded for free on any Android or Apple device. To do this, go to the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (Apple iOS) on your device and install our app. You can find the app by searching for the term “Alcomo” or by clicking on the link below.

After installation, open the app and then select the demo access. You can test the app for as long as you like. The data entered during the test are only stored on the device for a limited time and are therefore not suitable as proof of compliance.

It’s simple: The installation works like with any other app.

However, to use the app without restrictions, you need a login (email address & password) and a subscription. You will see the subscriptions at the top of this page and the login will be created at the latest during the purchase process.

Yes. Alcomo makes every effort to ensure the security of your data.

  • The data is transmitted encrypted.
  • The data is stored on a secure server in Switzerland.
  • The data will not be sold to third parties.
  • We comply with the requirements of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation of the EU).

For the following payment methods, the app will be unlocked immediately (within 2-3 minutes):

  • Credit and debit cards (e.g. Mastercard, Visa, American Express)
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

For the following payment methods there will be a short delay (approx. 1 hour) until the app is unlocked:

  • PayPal

For the following payment methods, it may take several business days for us to receive the payment:

  • SEPA bank transfer
  • Payment via invoice (possible for amounts of CHF/EUR 100.- or more, e.g. for annual subscriptions)

If you choose an annual subscription, we guarantee you the possibility to cancel the subscription at any time during the first 3 months if you are not satisfied with the Alcomo Hygiene App. We will refund the fee of the unused months to your credit card or by bank transfer to a bank account in the SEPA area.

Payments are processed in encrypted form through the payment services “Stripe” or “PayPal”. Both are very large, well-known and trusted providers.

If you choose an annual subscription, we guarantee you the possibility to cancel the subscription at any time during the first 3 months if you are not satisfied with the Alcomo Hygiene App. We will refund the fee of the unused months to your credit card or by bank transfer to a bank account in the SEPA area.

Companies based in Switzerland: In addition to the net price mentioned above, VAT will be charged and added to the price.

Companies domiciled outside Switzerland: The service provided by the subscription is not taxable in Switzerland. It may be subject to VAT in the country where your company’s registered office is located.

  • Purchase a subscription per site by entering a separate login (eMail & password) for each site. This allows each location to be managed separately.
  • Optional: To manage all sites in one place, you can purchase the “Multi-Site” add-on. This is a one-time payment. Our support team will then ensure that you can manage all sites together in the Alcomo Cockpit.

You do not have to sign a contract. Our customers automatically accept our terms and conditions and privacy policy when they register on our website and make a purchase.

We have developed the Alcomo Hygiene App with great care and support you with this app in the best possible way in the correct HACCP documentation of hygiene and HACCP self-control.

However, it does not release the customer from performing its own individual risk assessment of the hazards in relation to compliance with hygiene and food legislation and configuring the app accordingly.

Even if you hire a food safety consultant to create your HACCP plan, there is no such thing as 100% certainty.

Once you have received feedback from the official food inspection/supervision, please make the necessary adjustments to the configuration of the app. If there is a technical problem with our app, please contact our support team via our support page. We will be happy to receive your feedback.

Support depends on the selected subscription.

We guarantee support to all customers on our website, via support ticket on the support website or via the feedback function within the app. We will answer as soon as possible by eMail or contact you by phone in exceptional cases.

Customers with the support subscription are additionally entitled to support by phone.

Support is provided during office hours on business days. During company vacations or public holidays the support is reduced, but even then we try to help you as soon as possible.

The app can generally be used on all current Android and Apple devices, both tablets and smartphones.

We have successfully tested the app on many devices. If you still encounter problems on your device, please contact us.

For older devices using a very old operating system (Android or iOS) that has not been updated, there may be problems with the layout or speed of the app.

You can use the checklists basically worldwide. They follow the principle of Good Hygiene Practice. In principle, the use should always be in accordance with the hygiene and HACCP concept or with the company-specific risk analysis. Always respect local legal requirements, which may be different, e.g. more restrictive.
In the configuration you can see the languages currently available for the app. More languages will follow.
The checklists can also be used for food processing businesses other than restaurants, such as catering businesses, food production businesses, or retail businesses. Depending on the requirements, one, several or all checklists can be used.
In some countries you cannot yet use our app for tax reasons. However, more countries are being added on an ongoing basis. If you would like to use the app already before the release in your country, please contact us directly via contact form.
The app can also be used in the USA. We do not currently make the subscription available in the U.S. for tax reasons. We are striving to make the app available for the USA as well.
